Any Canadian scholarly journal that meets the CSSHRC criteria (http://www.sshrc-crsh.gc.ca/funding-financement/programs-programmes/scholarly_journals-revues_savantes-eng.aspx#a5) can be integrated into the Synergies portal.
For journals affiliated to one of the five regional nodes (University of New Brunswick, Université de Montréal, University of Toronto, University of Calgary and Simon Fraser University) or one of the 16 Synergies affiliated institutions (link to add here), it is strongly recommended to contact the regional teams in order to know how to proceed.

All other journals are invited to contact a regional team or the Head team directly: email@example.com.
Actually, only journals that can be harvested using the OAI-PMH protocole with the NLM tagset can be integrated into the platform. As soon as other protocoles and metadata formats will be supported, this documentation will be updated. Consult the Synergies news to be kept up to date on these services.
Every Canadian institution is invited to contribute to the Synergies project by giving access to its e-theses for metadata indexing only.
In order to contribute, the institution must contact the Synergies Head team directly: firstname.lastname@example.org.
